bread pudding melotup!

serious korang. aku buat ni dah agak lama dulu. dan aku dah cuba few resipe untuk bread pudding ni. and i vote this the best so far. aku suka pudding yang agak kering, not too soggy. so this is perfect for me. kalau korang nak lagi soggy, sila tambahkan sukatan susu tu.

pastu aku buat vanilla sauce + custard sikit. masya-Allahhhhh! mak mentua lalu kat belakang pun aku tak perasan deknon! kahkahkahkah! sorry yek mak? :P

okeh, ini aje gambar yang aku ada. selamat mencuba. you won't regret the effort. harap tak kecundang eh? :))


original recipe: Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding


BREAD PUDDING
* 4 eggs
* 2 cups milk (or 3 cups. ikut suka la yea)
* 1 cup white sugar
* 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
* 4 cups cubed French bread (boleh kurang atau lebih ikut suka)
* 2 bananas, sliced
* 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (aku tukar dengan raisins)

Directions:-
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. (aku bubuh dalam mangkuk kaca pyrex tu aje.)
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in bread, bananas, and chocolate chips, and let rest 5 minutes for bread to soak. Pour into prepared pan.
3. Line a roasting pan with a damp kitchen towel. Place loaf pan on towel inside roasting pan, and place roasting pan on oven rack. Fill roasting pan with water to reach halfway up the sides of the loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. (ni aku tak ikut pun. just masuk dalam oven bakar macam biasa je. tak kuasa heh nak renyah2! :P)

VANILLA CUSTARD SAUCE
* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1 tablespoon custard powder
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:-
Mix together sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon custard powder and 1/2 cup margarine in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Serve over bread pudding.

TTM, itu bukan custard recipe yea. just vanilla sauce. tak jadik custard hang jgn marah lak hahahahha...
